When a homeowner needs emergency plumbing, drain clearing or sewer line repair, we help point the request toward providers in our network. Think of it as one more road leading customers to your door.

This is not a job with us. You stay an independent business. You set your own prices, run your own schedule and do your own work.

Who We Are Looking For

We want providers who serve homeowners in Boston and the Boston area and are comfortable with the kinds of homes found here. That means older houses, full basements, stone and block foundations, and multi-family buildings. Useful services include:

• Emergency plumbing for bursts, leaks and failed fixtures
• Emergency drain clearing and blocked pipe services
• Sewer line inspection and sewer line repair
• Water heater and fixture repair

What We Expect

Homeowners are often stressed and new to this, so we ask providers to be patient and clear. In plain terms, we expect you to:

• Hold the licenses and insurance required where you work
• Explain the problem and the repair in simple words
• Give written quotes before larger jobs begin
• Be honest about your availability, without overpromising arrival times
• Do the job right the first time, so the home is protected
• Stand behind your own work and handle your own customer questions

We also ask that you never describe Preferduty Plumbing as the company doing the work. You are the provider, and you represent your own business.
